小明推着小推车到了粮店，买好了米，把米放在小推车的后边，可是前面太轻了，后边太重了,车子差点就翻倒了。于是小明就把米放在放在车子的前边，可以前面又太轻了，后面又重了，小明抬车起来非常吃力.小明灵机一动，想出了一个好主意：把米放在小推车的中间，不就可以了吗?!终于成功了。

小明回到了军烈属的家属院,把米送到了老奶奶的家中，老奶奶夸小明是个聪明的好孩子。回到了家，小明把这件事情告诉了爸爸妈妈，爸爸妈妈夸小明是个懂事心细的‘男子汉。小明的心像吃了蜜一样甜，心想：以后我要多帮助人。
